Raiz FCU Breaks Ground on New Stanton Branch

A groundbreaking ceremony was held the morning of Thursday, January 26, 2023, to celebrate the soon-to-be Raiz FCU Stanton branch located on 300 Montana Ave. (on the corner of Stanton and Montana). Plans for this branch include a modern design, two drive-thru ATM lanes, and a 24/7 ATM lobby equipped with the latest fintech software to improve the member experience.

President and CEO of Raiz, Max Villaronga, shared his sentiment “It’s with great pride that we reach yet another milestone with the beginning of our newest Raiz branch. This location is very special; it will allow us to bring our products and services to a unique, historic, and diverse community – from students, families, and working professionals to military and retirees.” The El Paso Chamber presented Raiz with an Official Starlighter certificate. The star on the Franklin Mountain will be lit on Thursday, January 26, 2023, in honor of this momentous occasion.

The credit union was joined by the Raiz Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee, Raiz Senior Management, Alvidrez Architects, CT Construction, and the El Paso Chamber to turn the first sod. Construction of the branch is projected to be completed in the Fall of 2023.
