Your Debit Cards are Going Contactless!

Within the next few weeks all Raiz debit card holders can expect to receive a new debit card updated with a contactless tap-and-pay feature. The best part is, it can be added to your mobile devices, so no more fumbling through your purses and pockets at the register.

What can you expect?

Updated debit cards will be mailed out to Raiz members as early as February 20, 2023. If you are a Spirit Debit Card user, your new Raiz debit card will have the same design you selected. New expiration dates and security codes will be assigned to each card for your protection. If you already have your card saved in your digital wallet, there is no need to worry. No update will be necessary. Your digital wallet card will continue to work with no disruptions.

Once you receive your new debit card in the mail, call the 1-800 number listed on the sticker within 60 days to activate your card and begin using it instantly! If you have recurring payments tied to your current debit card, please be sure to update the expiration and security code on those accounts to prevent any issues when processing your payment(s). During activation, you will be prompted to keep or change your existing PIN.

What should you do with your old card?

Once you activate your new Raiz debit card, make sure to shred the old card to keep your information safe and secure. If you don’t have a shredder, visit our website at www.raiz.us for our next scheduled Shred Day.
