Raiz Federal Credit Union recently accepted the DEIBA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility) Award from The Great Khalid Foundation at its annual Juneteenth celebration. Raiz president and CEO Max Villaronga accepted the award on behalf of Raiz at the gala, representing a momentous occasion for the credit union.
Juneteenth holds significant cultural and historical importance as a day to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States and to celebrate the achievements of African Americans.
