How does Online Bill Pay work?
Once you have entered your biller’s information (name of the company or bill paying, the account number for that particular bill and address for the biller, not the members address) you can then enter the amount you want to pay and select the date you want to pay it.
If the bill is paid electronically by Online Bill Pay, your account will be debited on the date set to pay and the biller will receive the credit that same day as well. After inputting your bill payment, the Online Bill Pay system will notify you if the bill will be sent electronically or by check along with the check number.
If the bill is paid with a corporate check or laser draft check, the check is mailed days prior to the due date so that the check is received at the biller before or by the due date.
